Francis Tuttle’s Online Web Design Program emphasizes designing sites according to web design standards. In this field, if you learn to create code that follows these standards, then you gain many benefits for your clients, such as better search rankings and better site accessibility for all devices. You will learn to hand code by doing hands-on work!

Web design technologies are always changing, and as a web designer, you need to have a passion for ongoing learning, for coding and/or design, and for troubleshooting and problem solving.

What You’ll Learn in Francis Tuttle’s Online Web Design Program

While you are with us, you will learn HTML, CSS, WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS), Photoshop, Javascript/JQuery, PHP, and MySQL. You will also learn the concepts, philosophies, and trends that inform the decisions of successful web designers.

We have an advisory board made up of local web designers and developers who are working in this field, some at corporations, some at web design firms, and some who freelance from home. These experts advise us on what is important and what are the latest up-and-coming trends that we should be learning. Very exciting! Get ready to geek out!
